-Minutes from 5/18/08 reviewed and accepted.
B. Treasurer (Kathleen)
- In Account: 3,298.09
-paid $132.10 for EACYPAA, $181.16 for BBQ,
-deposited $134 from BBQ profits.
- Petty cash: 212.83
C. Co-Chair (VACANT)
D. Events (Meg)
-BBQ was FANTASTIC
-pre-ICYPAA dance?
-waiting to hear back from Jan Hus about availability, St. Anne’s in Brooklyn available 6/2i1, still waiting to hear back from other places,
-we should wait, not book space for dance too rushed, plan on fist meeting after ICYPAA to plan next dance
-MOTION: approve a $1600 budget for a dance in late June pending finding a dance space
-motion withdrawn--more important to put our time into working on bid package, better to have a smaller scale event like a party at Darrens
-MOTION: to have a pre-ICYPAA party at Darren’s loft on Saturday June 28 with a $500 budget.

-outreach went well for BBQ
-will begin outreaching loft party immediately
F. Bid Book (Laura)
-SENY archives paragraph of history of young people finished
-By-Laws: not going to be updated until bid package completed

G. Co-Bid Chair (Kristina)
-have designed graphics with pizza box logo for bid package
-ICYPAA t-shirts with pizza logo $375/50 t-shirts, meg will let us know
-darren wants stickers! Erin will create sticker design based on pizza logo? At sticker junkie.com and will get back to us
-include video into bid package? Have it playing at our table
BID SKIT
-new rap has not been worked on, janusz not going so rap is OUT
-New York, New York skit is in---will work on learning song dance
H. Bid Facilities (Daniel, Jared)
- had meeting a week and a half ago
-obtained contracts from the Hilton and Marriott with a rate of $239, Hilton first choice for July 4th 2009 weekend
-New Yorker/Pennsylvania is a 3rd option
-contract from downtown Marriott with a rate of $399
-still waiting to hear from the Brooklyn Marriott
-contacting locations in downtown Brooklyn that will open up next year
-Sheraton Towers will get back to us with contract

-has been on vacation, fallen behind on posting, last meetings minutes will be sent and posted
J. SENY Liaison (Dustina)

- next phone commitment: June 14th at Erics
K. Graphics (Erin)
-will get started on pre-reg flyer, sticker
L. Literature (Darren)
-no action has been taken
-have pamphlets to distribute to YP meetings, still need to get books
M.Corrections and Treatment Facilities
-Rikers is fine, trying to get another chair set up
-preparing to turn commitment over to Jason by end of week
V. 7th Tradition- $13
VI. Announcements
-Vacant Chair & Co-Chair positions.
-shoutout from thegrapevine! gravevine redid website, added a YP section- NYCYPAA was listed as link as example of ways to get involved in young people groups.
-EACYPAA- host committee elections for 2009 are Friday June 13th 6 pm

a. old business covered in reports, only other thing-we can let ICYPAA know what we will need for our bid and they can help supply it, hurray!
