a. For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority - A loving God as he may express himself in our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted servants - they do not govern.
Where does AA get it's direction? Sole authority in AA is loving God as he may express himself in the group conscience. Formation of a group. Growing Pains. Rotating committees are servants of the group. Leaders do not govern, they serve, Does AA have a real leadership? Elder statesmen and Bleeding Deacons. The group conscience speaks

friday febuary 15th is going smoothly, all of the service positions are filled,
we will need more volenteers most likely for the overall.
kareokee killed the cat is booked and coming
it will start at 8.30 pm and go till 1 am.
we are going to let the kareoke guys decide and feel it out for what and when there will be dancing and kareokee
the name for the dance is the heartbreaker bash

a. Manhattan Share-A-Day: Signs Commitment: Sunday, February 17th – WIHS.

d. We have Vacant Chair & Co-Chair positions here @ NYCYPAA. If someone is interested in learning about the duties of these positions or committing to one of them, please speak with me after the meeting, express your interest, and keep coming back to NYCYPAA meetings so that you can be elected… or you can raise your hand during New Business.

7. 7th Tradition

If you would like to speak on an issue, you will be recognized by the Chair by a show of hands. Anyone who has not already spoken will be given first priority. There will be a 3 minute time limit per share and the Chair will indicate when time is up. Please do not reiterate something that has already been stated, and please consider if your new ideas and information will help carry the message of Alcoholics Anonymous.

8. Old Business:
a. YPAA video submission.

- Final report was complete
- NERAASA's response to our request to show the video was discussed. It was decided Josh would email the NERAASA chair to find out the contact info for the YP roundtable and PI roundtable.

9. New Business
Dance Activity:
A kissing booth or some other valentines activity was discussed to add to our Feb 15 event
Most in attendance were against the idea of a kissing booth and decided to let the events committee decide based upon that info.
